-CRIMSON![]() Registered Member #18 Joined: Mon Aug 08 2011, 03:49AMPosts: 164 | allow me to further clarify. the OP is right about roleplaying our hits. but we can still do that while maintainting an effective fighting style. i can flamingo fight all day long. but i should also say OW really loud when i get tapped on the toe. maybe not the best example. but its a step in the right direction. i DO have alot of respect for people that fight like they are having a heart attack with their own roleplay. (dan comstock is a nerd) so i think we should all try our best to lean towards fighting in such a manner as to provide a more immersive environment. without losing our effectiveness. | ||

People used to say "got it" every time they got hit, now they tend to say "Ouch" or wince or something to that effect. Nobody's winning an oscar for acting like they just got slashed, but it's nice to see combat RP slowly winning out. The more you do this, the more people around you will do it too.
