Has anyone ever considered a Skill for Extra Body? A skill to Add extra body per rank purchased up to a certain amount like how extra armor has a max of 40?

alot of times.

but its my opinion that damage and body should generally be scaled down than up.

anytime PC's get more protectives (scaled protectives) or extra body or swing higher. so do the monsters to compensate.

in the end, you see creatures with 100 body swinging upwards of 15's and 20's or more.

It'd be nice, but totally not worth it. In the high level game, more body is a detriment than benefit. Once you get over 41 body, you're just more meat sack to heal, waste of spells, etc.

cause you can refit armor without draining spells. you can't refit body. I once made a suggestion that first aid be allowed to do this, very very slowly, but nobody like the idea much.

So all fighters over 40 body are a detriment? Thats not a very nice sentiment especially when you can finally not have to fear every half decent necromancer, hoping you have enough cloak chaos if you are high enough.

It's not that all fighters over 40 body are a detriment. But spiraling body/armor for fighters *is* a problem, in general, and higher body drains spells faster than higher armor (I personally don't like bigger armor, but that's another debate entirely). There are multiple fighters I know who require 2+ eighth level spells to get to full *once*. Spells go away fast once you've got a few people like that around.

And I am sure it's nice not to fear necromancers... but you have the option of bringing along magic items, potions, or :gasp: an actual caster to help you jump the necromancer.
