Hello all, I'm new here so I figured I'd introduce myself. My in game name is usually Mirilaud and as I'm sure you can tell I like to play as an elf. I used to larp a little bit with a small group around the Philadelphia area. Regardless of that it has been about 3 years since I've even touched a sword besides messing with some friends. Long story short I'm a bit rusty and was looking for a group to play with and I heard about Nero. I live near the Nero West (california) Group and any pointers or help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Much Thanks
Mirilaud

Have you looked at the rule book yet? We might be able to answer questions after you read it and have something more specific. Hope you have fun

So I've decided I want to play as a Wild Elf, are goggles alright? I was thinking since Wild Elvs emphasize hunting and tracking that seems like something that would be practical.

You can wear what ever you want to spend your money on for costuming. Requirements would be Elf Ears, and maybe some fur / war paint. I would suggest talking to someone who plays that race for more tips on their culture. Here is a link to the old site that will have more info for you on this race http://larphq.com/InGame/Handbook_Wild_Elf_V03.htm

costuming is all personal choice, but as a friendly suggestion, wild elves are based on native american/tribal culture as a generalization. So don't know if goggles would fit that to me.....
