NERO Knoxville is owned by Chris Wright, James Headrick and Jarrett Glosson and will be using the NERO LARP Rule Book 9th Edition which is available in PDF as a free download.

Chris Wright, James Headrick and Jarrett Glosson have teamed up to take Tennessee LARPing into 2014!

Chris Wright and James Headrick have played NERO in the TN area for several years and upon hearing their current chapter wasn’t continuing decided to ensure Tennessee is involved in Nero's future!

Jarrett Glosson joins the team with a love and history in gaming and with faith in the NERO LARP vision and organization.

The NERO Knoxville LARP Chapter is based out of Knoxville, TN. It will begin producing major events in 2014 – continuing where NEROTN leaves off. Throughout 2013, the Knoxville team will be growing our player base by producing Adventure Module Events in the Knoxville and surrounding areas.

Promotional efforts will primarily include a NERO Knoxville website, a FaceBook Group, You Tube Video’s, Word of Mouth, Game Store Fliers and Demo’s whenever possible.

20/10 :  2013 National Event Announcement

   NERO International is excited to announce the 2013 National Event will be held March 15-18th at A.H. Stephens State Park in Georgia. The event will be a four day, meaning we will be running story Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and wrapping things up Monday morning.

The 2013 NERO Larp National Event will weave an exciting mix of mystery, pageantry, conflict and achievement. NERO Atlanta is hosting the event, which is staffed with an assortment of representatives of National Plot, individual chapter plot teams and an army of volunteers.

The story-lines currently in development include administering of the Hollum Archwizard test, conflict with forgotten enemies who have spent years rebuilding their strength, a number of locally significant stories presented by participating chapter plot teams, a calling of the courts of the Avalonian Accords, and the opportunity to participate in an audience with the King of Evendarr!

Registration will be available soon. There are discounts available for traveling players, pre-paying players, and players who fill out the pre-registration form.

The NERO LARP office is proud to announce the re-opening of its newest NERO LARP Chapter in the Michigan area, NERO Kalamazoo.

NERO KZOO is owned by Seth Warfield and John Hazlett. Seth has been producing LARP events for twenty years, and was once a NERO Chapter owner in years past. And John the Magnificent has more than 15 years of producing events, writing story lines, and in general, making the Game 100 times better just by being there!

NERO Kzoo plans on producing LARP events beginning September 2012 in the Kalazmazoo, Barry, Berrien, Van Buren, and Ionia counties in Michigan, continuing to rent Camp Rotokiwan and Camp Merriewoods.

NERO Kazoo's in-game story line will be re-integrated into the Tyrran Campaign, right back into the in-game territory that he once managed, easing the transition of characters between rule systems.

NERO SWAG is owned by Cassandra Kirschbaum, Clinton Snyder and Vincent Errico and will be using the NERO LARP Rule Book 9th Edition, available in PDF as a free download.

The NERO SWAG owners have been actively involved with NERO as early as 1998. Between the three of them, their many roles have included Plot Team, Event Coordinator, Player Representative, and Logistics.
The NERO LARP Chapter is based out of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania but spans much of Southwestern Pennsylvania and parts of Northeastern Ohio. They are dedicated to interact with nearby chapters to enhance the playing experience of local LARPers.

New NERO® Live Action Role Play (LARP) Chapter opens in Grand Rapids, MI.

The NERO LARP office announced the opening of its newest NERO LARP Chapter in the Grand Rapids Michigan area. It is owned by David Greene, Matt Bitterling, and John Reynold, and will be using the NERO LARP Rule Book 9th Edition.

Matt and John will manage the business side of the NERO LARP Chapter in addition to helping run events. They will insure that camps are rented, props and costumes are purchased, and that promotional materials are distributed.

David will act as the General Manager and Head of Plot, managing NERO LARP Chapter staff while coordinating the many long and short term storylines that are the foundation of LARP Chapters everywhere.
David has been LARPing since 2002 and a NERO LARP Member since 2005. In 2008, David joined the staff of several NERO LARP Chapters and also helped produce events for four other non-NERO LARP’s.

Lacy Warfel will be leading the Grand Rapids Michigan NERO LARP Chapters Plot team. Lacy has been playing NERO LARP games since 2006 and was Head of Plot for two seasons at NERO DarkReign, the LARP the runs in Kalamazoo Michigan area. Lacy has played an array of table-top and Live Action Role Play games for more than a decade.

Jennele Berry will be leading the NERO Grand Rapids Michigan Logistics team. Jennele has been a NERO LARP Member since 1999, has played at hundreds of NERO LARP events, and been active in logistics at other NERO LARP Chapters.

NERO LARP Grand Rapids Michigan will likely be scheduling events at “Little Pine Island Camp and Retreat Center” www.lpicamp.org

Promotional efforts will include attending local game conventions, advertising at local Game Stores, and engaging college and high school game clubs to try LARPing.

08/08 :  New NERO LARP Website Up! READ ME FIRST!

   Hello everyone!
As you can see, the new website is now up! You might be asking "but, I don't see any posts on the forums." The long and the short of it is that the integration of the forums did not go as planned, so I had to manually migrate everything over. The posts are still safe, and I will probably migrate them over tonight.
I have, however, managed to move everyone's username over to the new system. You will ALL have to click the "forgot password" button, though, as the old passwords were irretrievable from the old database.
Your usernames should match perfectly, except for a few exceptions:

• 
  If you had any spaces in your name, remove them, and it should work
  
• If you had any parentheses in your name, remove them. Example = "Tim(brock) is now Timbrock"
  
• Dashes and underscores should still be fine.
  
• Daniel R. Simmons is now DanielRSimmons (sorry to single you out, but you were a unique case)
  
• If you are unable to get your username correct, please do not hesitate to email me at nerowebadmin@nerolarp.com

Have fun with the new site! Keep in mind that it is very much still a work in progress, with more features to come in the future.
